Welcome to Karen Amelia Hair. I am a professional hairstylist based in Berkshire. A little bit about me, I love being a helping hand in making other women feel beautiful and confident. It is the most rewarding feeling seeing a glowing bride on the morning of her wedding day. I truly love what I do and I believe that is reflected in my work. I am so passionate about my work, never stop learning, practising and improving my skills so that you will always have the most up to date,on trend hair styles. Its always a pinch me moment to be a part of your day and I treat your day as if it were my own. Creating a relaxed and enjoyable environment, happy to go the extra mile to ensure your day starts off perfectly!

• You will receive my wedding wellness pack via email once your booking is confirmed. Including all my tips & advice to ensure an enjoyable lead up to the wedding day. How to prep your hair, DIY hair mask recipes, product recommendations, helpful advice for making the perfect bridal morning and so much more.
• Unlimited communication and support from myself from the time of booking leading right up to your wedding day.
• You will get 1.5hrs hours for your trial in the comfort of my studio.
• You will have the opportunity to try out beautiful hair accessories from a wide range of designers at your trial.
• Post trial will receive beautiful photos & videos of your hair, a time schedule for your wedding morning to ensure you are relaxed and ready on time and confirmation of all the final details.
• Application of your own clip in extensions. Help with colour matching and purchasing clip in extensions if needed.
• Application of any accessories and veil on wedding day.
• Hair padding is always included for all services if needed.
• I will stay with you on the morning until you are happy for me to leave. I’ve been known to help put on your dress/shoes, ensure the girls have their drinks topped up, reassure the mother of bride, tidy up the room, assist the photographer and much more. Just think of me as your extra bridesmaid. Nothing is too much trouble.

Lets get personal! I love to hear about the wedding, the style and the girls. This way we can get to know each other and book in your trial to bring your vision to life.

Sit back and relax! Once we have had the trial, decided on the perfect hair design that suits you, the dress and the venue, we shall set a timeline for the big day. This way nothing is left to chance and you can trust the morning of your wedding will run smoothly.

FAQs
How do I secure my wedding date?
I will send over an email including all the details of your booking and once your booking fee has been paid (£100) the date is exclusively yours. The booking fee is non refundable however will be deducted from your final balance.
When is final payment due?
The final balance is due 4 weeks prior to the wedding day.
I’m getting married abroad, are you able to travel?
Yes! I can travel all over the uk and even abroad. Please get in touch to discuss your destination wedding.
Can I have a trial before paying a booking fee?
A Due to high demand trials are only offered once your wedding date has been secured.
Do I need a trial
All bridal bookings include 1 trial for the bride. This is a really important part of your service to make sure we bring your vision to life for the big day. Trials are not essential for the bridal party.
When should I have my trial?
A I usually recommend around 1-2 months prior to the wedding day. It can be sooner if preferred. Due to demand will depend on availability. Trials are held mid week at my home studio (gu21)
Can I bring anyone with me to my trial appointment?
The studio is a small space. Guests are welcome but please only bring one other person with you. Please do let me know if you are bringing somebody along with you.
Do my bridal party need a trial?
I allow time on the wedding morning for each of your bridal party to show me inspiration photos and discuss their vision. This is usually enough and a trial isn’t necessary. However if they feel they need a little extra help deciding on how to have their hair they can book in for a trial. Extra trials are charged at £70.00.
Do you provide hair extensions?
I do not supply extensions myself however I can recommend where to buy these from and help colour match.
I have a big bridal party, how many people can you style?
Depending on what time your ceremony is I can manage around 7 people on my own. I have styled a bridal party of 10 myself in the past (depending on timings and hairstyles required) If a second stylist is needed to help speed things along I can arrange this, there is a £100.00 surcharge for this option.
Do you work with any MUA’s?
Yes I regularly work with some fantastic make up artists. Please ask me for some recommendations and I will be happy to help.
Do you style flower girls hair?
Yes I do, the age limit for the little ones is 5yrs - 10yrs old. Above the age of 10 the service is charged at a full adult price.
How much do you charge for travel?
Travel is charged at 50p per mile from my base in Surrey to your venue for the round trip. This is calculated and added to your total balance.
Do you have a minimum booking?
Yes for peak season dates the minimum booking is Bride + 3 adults.
What is your cancellation policy?
Booking fee is non refundable. Cancellations within 3 months of the events will require full payment to be paid. Outside of 3 months 50% of the payment will need to be paid.
